About this Event
Prepare for a musical journey like no other! If you've ever experienced a Pavlo concert, you know you're in for a Mediterranean escape filled with electrifying energy and infectious "feel-good" vibes.
Pavlo, one of the most influential and respected guitarists of our time, is a globally renowned, award-winning recording artist, performer, and songwriter who never fails to get the audience on their feet. Over his 20-year career, Pavlo has released 11 albums of his original music, collaborated on 2 albums, and starred in 3 television concert specials that continue to captivate audiences on PBS across America and Canada.
Born in Toronto to Greek parents, Pavlo has created a unique genre he calls "Mediterranean music"—a vibrant fusion of Greek, flamenco, Latin, and Balkan sounds, all wrapped in contemporary pop. His music has taken him around the world, where he's performed for royalty, including King Charles, and shared the stage with legends like José Feliciano, Jon Secada, and Olivia Newton-John.
But that's not all—Pavlo is known for his passion for spreading the love of music. He believes "the world needs more guitars," and to prove it, he gives away the very guitar he plays on stage to one lucky audience member at every concert! What's next for this musical maestro? He's currently planning his fourth PBS concert special, "Pavlo: Live In Santorini," all while staying true to the words his father once told him: "Have the courage to do what you love, and the drive to do it well."
Don't miss this incredible evening of music, proudly presented by Meaford Hall.

about the organizer
Meaford Hall
In 1909, the town of Meaford eagerly gathered at the new Town Hall and Opera House on Nelson and Sykes Streets. The construction of this grand building, designed by local architect James Ellis, marked a significant moment for the community. As the cornerstone was laid in 1908, Mayor J.W. Horsley proudly declared that Meaford Hall would be a symbol of progress and prosperity for generations to come.
Over the years, Meaford Hall served multiple purposes, including housing the council chambers, town offices, courtroom, library, and community meeting spaces. However, it was the second-floor Opera House that truly captured the town's heart. The Opera House became a cultural hub, hosting plays, graduations, concerts, and famous speakers.
The building endured some neglect but was ultimately saved through a restoration project in the early 2000s, funded by grants and community efforts.
Today, Meaford Hall Arts & Cultural Centre stands as an icon of downtown Meaford, a testament to the town's history and commitment to arts and culture.
